Recreating the Soul

I was about to write something about a book my dad gave me to read... but just like my other pending journals...this one has to wait... something more interesting came up... A net journal is quite difficult to maintain  but since the diaries of this millennium are meant to be shared, then I guess, I'll just try to figure a way to keep them up. This is an extended journal sharing... to a friend's friend...  Most of my reflections come from my experiences with my patients and their relatives... colleagues and friends... and my own as well... When one is in pain, whether it be physical or emotional... the natural tendency of humans is to protect itself from it. We call it fight vs. flight. Face it or  evade it. It's a natural human reaction. What causes it or who contributes to pain's gravity are also factors to consider. It was appropriately while looking at myself in the mirror when my reflections on this all began...
